Where It All Started

Hunting has always been part of my life. From the time I was a kid, I was hooked. Harvesting my first turkey at 11 years old with my grandpa beside me, and from that moment on, the outdoors became apart of who I am.

Hunting was never just a hobby in our family- it was time spent together. For years, we hunted as a family side by side, creating memories that still mean everything to us today. Eventually, life took my brothers and I in a different direction when all three of us joined the Coast Guard and ended up stationed across the country. While my brothers completed their service after 4 and 5 years, I’m still proudly serving on active duty in Virginia.

Anyone who’s walked into the woods before daylight or come out after dark knows how easy it is to get turned around.

The idea for our reflective zip ties came during a hunt on an Army base. I found myself navigating a poorly marked trail squeezed between marshland, a chainlink fence and thick cedar trees at 0530 am. Right then, I thought “Reflective Zip Ties would be perfect for this.”

Something simple, lightweight, and easy to hang anywhere.

When I got home, I searched everywhere for them. Google — nothing. Amazon — nothing. I couldn’t believe no one had made them already. The idea seemed to simple and to useful. After a year of testing, prototypes, and trial and error, the first shipment finally arrived and the vision became real.

Our goal is simple: create a practical reflective marker solution that actually solves problems for outdoorsmen and women. Whether you’re marking a trail to your stand, walking your dog at night, identifying property lines, camping or adding visibility while running after dark these markers are built to go wherever you do.

What started as a solution for one difficult trail has grown into something we hope helps hunters, outdoorsmen, and anyone who spends time outside at night.
